“UP THERE IT’S JUST A GAME OF BOWLS, ROLLING STUFF, BURNING ALL, BREAKING THROUGH… GASES TURNING TO MATTER, MATTER TURNING TO GAS, SPLASHES OF BLOOD AND SHIT EVERYWHERE…”

Antonio Moresco, Il firmamento (Effigie Edizioni 2007)

Her, Him, the firmament. In a naked room of a city like many others. Their naked bodies, the night lights. The sidereal immobility. Visible and invisible scars. Dead times, or the living times of love. The words of who has passed to the other side. But we don’t hear them talking. The dialogs are lines on black. The sound scene is dominated by the firmament’s beat. A clarinet surfaces from where god knows. A sentence of Her, which seems said perchance, provokes the irreparable. All in a night.
